Offshore, High-Risk COMAH site, Real-Time Experience

Alongside my consultancy work, my day-to-day role offshore places me directly within high-risk operational environments. For the past 14 years, I have worked on COMAH sites across the offshore energy sector, where health and safety is not theoretical—it is critical to life.

My responsibilities regularly include fire team training, working at height training, confined space rescue planning, permit preparation, confined space initial entries, and atmospheric gas testing, all delivered within fully integrated safe systems of work. This experience spans a wide range of offshore assets, from small seismic vessels through to jack-ups, semi-submersibles, accommodation barges, FPSOs, and oil rigs. This hands-on, operational exposure ensures that the advice, systems, and tools I provide are practical, realistic, and proven to work in the most demanding environments.
