Meet the Chartered IOSH Consultant Behind Your Safety Success

About Me

I began my career as a Combat Medic in the Army before moving into the oil and gas industry as a Medic and Health & Safety Advisor in 2012.

From 2012 to 2015, I worked across accommodation barges, drilling platforms, seismic vessels, and FPSOs before completing my Health & Safety Diploma and continuing in the industry for the next 15 years. During this time, I gained IOSH Chartered status and specialised in safety leadership on COMAH-regulated sites, supporting training, coaching, emergency response planning, audits, inspections, and everyday process safety fundamentals.

I’m passionate about making safety simple, effective, and easy for people to use. I focus on using free or included Microsoft tools to build compliance systems that integrate smoothly with any workplace, reduce admin, and remain fully auditable without added effort. I also place a strong emphasis on engagement—working with all levels of staff to share ideas, build ownership, and drive a positive, open safety culture where improvements come from the people who know the job best. Continuous improvement, practical solutions, and making safety work for real operations are what motivates me every day.
